The Community and Economic Development Department of Fullerton has announced a public hearing concerning a minor site plan for a new residential development at 203 North Lawrence Avenue. The meeting will take place virtually on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 5:00 pm, offering residents the opportunity to participate and provide public comment via computer, smartphone, or telephone.
The proposed project seeks approval for the construction of five residential dwelling units on a currently vacant parcel zoned R-3 (Limited Density, Multiple-Family Residential). This includes three primary dwelling units and two accessory dwelling units (ADUs), marking a significant development in the area.
Residents living, working, or owning property adjacent to the project site are receiving this notice to keep them informed and engaged in the planning process. Community members are encouraged to submit questions or comments prior to the public hearing, and these will be included in the public record.
For those interested in learning more about the project or participating in the meeting, details will be available on the City of Fullerton’s website 72 hours before the hearing at http://www.citvoffullerton.com/zoningadministratormeetings.
Yan Gao from the Community and Economic Development Department is available to address any inquiries or comments at (714) 738-6854 or via email at yan.gao@cityoffullerton.com.

To ensure accessibility, those requiring special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact Chris Schaefer at Chris.Schaefer@cityoffullerton.com or at (714) 738-6884 at least 48 hours in advance.
As noted in the announcement, any challenges to the Zoning Administrator’s decisions made during this hearing must be raised at the meeting or submitted in writing prior to the hearing, as outlined by Government Code 65009 (a).
