A significant complaint from potential patrons to San Diego State football games since moving into Snapdragon Stadium has been ticket costs, especially for families searching for ways to stretch their entertainment dollar.
The Aztecs announced Wednesday a family four-pack promotion available for four of six home games. Cost for the package, which includes parking, is $76 plus fees. Additional seats may be purchased for $20 each.
“This is a great option for family and friends to purchase their Aztec football tickets together and to come out and compete with us each Saturday at Snapdragon,” coach Sean Lewis said. “Our community’s support is felt and makes a huge difference for our guys. Eager to see all of San Diego show up and support the Aztecs this fall.”
The package is available for the season opener against Portland State (Sept. 5) as well as a nonconference game against James Madison (Sept. 19) and Pac-12 games against Texas State (Oct. 3) and Utah State (Nov. 14). Tickets are available at goaztecs.com/tickets.
The Aztecs opened preseason practice Wednesday morning on campus. They return seven starters on offense and three on defense from a team that went 9-4 last season. SDSU was 6-0 at home last season, marking the first time since 1996 that the Aztecs were unbeaten at home.
SDSU outscored opponents 187-41 at Snapdragon, thanks in large part to shutout victories over Stony Brook (42-0) and Cal (34-0).
