The annual three-day San Francisco music festival, Outside Lands, kicks off Friday.
Here’s what to know ahead of the highly-anticipated event.
Where will Outside Lands be held?
The festival will be held at Golden Gate Park and will host over 90 artists and 100 food and drink vendors.
Who is performing at Outside Lands?
Headliners include Charli XCX, The Strokes, PinkPanthress, Rüfüs Du Sol and Empire of the Sun. Other performers include Labyrinth, GloRilla, Djo and Geese.
The earliest acts begin at 12 p.m. each day and the latest performances will start at 10 p.m.

Various food and drink locations will also be available at the festival. Locations are spread across the festival with options for multiple dietary restrictions.

Outside Lands transportation: What to know
Transportation is another factor that the festival urges fans to consider.
There is no general admission parking at the festival. Outside Lands recommends that festivalgoers leave their cars at home and utilize public transportation.
The festival offers shuttle passes, picking up fans from Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.
Other modes of transportation to consider include Muni, BART, and rideshare services.
Outside Lands bag policy
Festivalgoers are also warned about Outside Lands bag policy. The following bag types are allowed, per Outside Lands webpage:
Backpacks and bags made of clear plastic, clear vinyl, or clear PVC
Small bags, fanny-packs, purses up to 6” x 8” x 3” (do not have to be clear)
Empty dedicated hydration packs with a bladder capacity of under 2.5 liters or 150 inches, and no more than one additional pocket.
Standard size backpacks with hydration bladders will not be permitted.
