Corazón de Maná at Pearson Park | Anaheim | August 1
Pearson Park Amphitheatre kicks off the month with Corazón de Maná, a tribute celebrating the sound and enduring hits of Mexican rock band Maná. The open-air venue is located near Downtown Anaheim, making it easy to pair the concert with dinner nearby.
Mariachi Divas at Craig Regional Park | Fullerton | August 6
Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Divas bring their lively take on traditional Mexican music to Craig Regional Park in Fullerton. The free OC Parks concert opens at 5 p.m., with music from 6 to 8 p.m.
Summer Music by the Seal Beach Pier | Seal Beach | August 5 and 12
Listen to live music just steps from the sand during the final two shows of Seal Beach’s Summer Concert Series. Mood Lifters performs a Rush tribute on August 5, followed by Stevie Nicks Illusion on August 12. Concerts are completely free and run from 6 to 8 p.m. at Eisenhower Park, right beside the pier.
Red Hot Tribute at Pearson Park | Anaheim | August 8
This August, Red Hot Tribute recreates the funk-rock sound and high-energy performances of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The show goes from 7 to 9 p.m., and while it’s free to attend, you’ll want to reserve your seat here, as it’s sure to draw a big crowd!
Garden Amp Summer Concerts (Garden Grove)
Tucked inside Village Green Park, Garden AMP is Garden Grove’s premier outdoor music venue and a go-to destination for live music fans across Orange County. The open-air amphitheater hosts an eclectic mix of shows every weekend, with August 2026 bringing a stacked lineup of tribute festivals, punk icons, country acts, and Latin legends.
Garden Amp is turning up the volume this month with a lineup of tribute shows and live concerts, including a Tribute to Sublime (Aug. 8), classic rock tributes to Boston, Foreigner, Styx, and The Pretenders (Aug. 9), Western Conference & Friends (Aug. 14), the first-ever Summer Ska Classic (Aug. 15), Garden Amp’s Summer Bash (Aug. 16), Latin rock tributes honoring El Tri, Maldita Vecindad, Panteón Rococó, Enanitos Verdes, and Soda Stereo (Aug. 21), and Black Lips closing out the month on Aug. 30.
Symphony in the Cities | Newport Beach and Mission Viejo | August 8–9
Pacific Symphony presents two free outdoor concerts over one weekend. The orchestra visits Mission Viejo on August 8 and Newport Beach on August 9, with family-friendly activities held before each performance. To make the most of the evening, pack a picnic and arrive early for the Musical Playground, where kids can make their own instruments and partake in hands-on activities.
Como La Flor Band at Mile Square Park | Fountain Valley | August 13
Celebrate the music of Selena when the Como La Flor Band performs at Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley. This free tribute concert is part of the OC Parks Summer Concert Series and offers plenty of room to sing, dance, or relax on the grass. Plus, parking is also free!
Latin Soul Band at Pearson Park | Anaheim | August 15
If you’re in Anaheim, the Latin Soul Band brings danceable rhythms and warm summer-night energy to Pearson Park on August 15. They’re known to play an eclectic mix of music from across Latin America, including salsa, cumbia, bachata, merengue, and more! The band hits the stage at 7 p.m. sharp.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at Mile Square Park | Fountain Valley | August 20
Swinging rhythms take center stage when Big Bad Voodoo Daddy performs a free concert in Fountain Valley. The event area opens at 5 p.m., giving guests time to settle in and purchase food before the band begins at 6 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
SantanaWays and The Music of ABBA | Anaheim and Irvine | August 22
On August 22, two outdoor tribute concerts offer very different ways to spend your Saturday night. SantanaWays celebrates the music of Carlos Santana at Pearson Park in Anaheim, while Pacific Symphony and ARRIVAL (from Sweden) perform ABBA’s greatest hits at Great Park Live in Irvine! Both events are free and for all ages.

Enjoy a midweek evening of classical music when Symphonic Winds of the Pacific performs at Pearson Park. The community ensemble’s varied repertoire makes this an approachable outing, and at just $5.00, it’s a budget-friendly way to enjoy one of California’s most talented symphonies.
