These days, we’re all watching our spending, from everyday essentials to family outings.
The Kern County Fair aims to ease the burden for this year’s festivities with a one-day flash sale on admission tickets and carnival wristbands.
“We know the cost of family outings can add up, and we want to make attending the Kern County Fair as affordable as possible for our community,” Sean Andrew, CEO of the Kern County Fair, said in a news release. “The flash sale gives families the opportunity to plan ahead, save and enjoy everything the fair has to offer at the lowest prices available all year.”
This online-only sale will run today from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering the lowest prices of the year: discounted fair admission tickets for $9 and unlimited carnival ride wristbands for $33.
(Admission is $15 at the gate and unlimited wristbands range from $43 to $48.)
All sales are final. Additional restrictions and ticket terms may apply.
Flash sale tickets will be available exclusively online at kerncountyfair.com. The special pricing will end promptly at 10 p.m. and will not be available at the fair office or other retail locations.
Once the flash sale ends, regularly priced advance discount admission tickets and carnival wristbands will go on sale. Tickets for the PRCA Rodeo, Fiesta Del Charro Rodeo and Monster Truck Show will also be available at that time.
The 2026 Kern County Fair will run from Sept. 23 through Oct. 4, hosting live entertainment, carnival rides, fair food, livestock, exhibits and more.
This year’s theme, “The Place to Be,” celebrates the fair as the place where Kern County gathers to make memories year after year.
