For years, Ovation Theatre has become known for bringing Broadway-caliber productions to Bakersfield, and it continues to grow with the addition of The Underground, its new black box theatre.
The Underground is a smaller, more intimate setting with just 40 seats, but it carries the same impact as Ovation’s larger productions. And this weekend, The Underground welcomes The Grown-Ups — a dark comedy about camp counselors trying to hold it together while the world outside their cabin walls begins to unravel.
