Yes, the city is going berserk for British pop girlie Charli XCX, who headlined Night 1 of Outside Lands on Friday. On July 31, the Downtown SF Partnership built an entire block party around the artist, complete with a lookalike contest. The contest drew several hundred fashionable fans downtown, crowning Alina Rahman, 28, of Vallejo the winner (her look was an homage to Charli’s 2024 “SNL” appearance: black tank, miniskirt, wraparound shades, cigarette).
