MILFORD, Mich. – The streets of downtown Milford became pedestrian-only as the community celebrated the 34th annual Milford Memories festival.

The three-day festival brought together local businesses, vendors, artists and residents for a weekend of activities. Visitors browsed booths selling handmade goods and other items while live bands performed. Basketball, soccer, volleyball and cornhole competitions also took place throughout the grounds.

“It’s a huge, massive community event,” attendee Cheryl Wegner said. “It’s a smaller, quaint, little hidden gem, and so this brings people in that may not necessarily come out this way and spend the day getting to know the little town.”

For Wegner and other attendees, the festival offered an opportunity to spend the weekend with friends and neighbors while supporting local businesses and artists.
