Three Women Rushed to Hospital After Shooting Outside LB Liquor Store

Three women were hospitalized after they were shot outside a Long Beach liquor store, authorities said Monday.

The shooting occurred at 11:23 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Pacific Coast Highway at Pine Avenue, Long Beach Police Department Lt. Jayson Torres said.

One woman was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, Torres said. Two women suffered wounds to their lower bodies that were not believed life-threatening and were also hospitalized.

Suspect information was not available.

“Detectives are on scene and the investigation is ongoing,” he said.

Video showed the crime scene was outside Mike’s Liquor.
