Several suspects were taken into custody after fleeing from a reported stolen vehicle, prompting a multi-agency police search in East Palo Alto on Monday.
The East Palo Alto Police Department assisted the Oakland Police Department after Oakland officers followed the stolen vehicle into East Palo Alto. According to authorities, the vehicle became disabled, and the occupants fled on foot.
Law enforcement officers from several agencies worked together to conduct a systematic search of the area. Police noted that officers utilized diversionary devices during the operation.
The suspects were ultimately located hiding and taken into custody without further incident. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported.
