National Night Out was celebrated in Rancho Bernardo on Aug. 4 in the Lucia Capital Group parking lot.
The free event included meeting representatives from San Diego Police Department, San Diego Fire-Rescue, Rancho Bernardo Neighborhood Watch, Rancho Bernardo Community Council and other community leaders.
Attendees received free Chick-fil-A sandwiches from Chick-fil-A in Carmel Mountain Ranch, bottled water and Casa de las Campanas gave ice cream bars. Live music was performed by students at Bach to Rock Music School. The RB Community Council and Neighborhood Watch organized the event.
