After drawing more than 4,000 attendees this past spring, VinylCon! is returning to Downtown LA for another weekend of music, collecting, and crate-digging.
The massive record fair will take over the California Market Center on August 22-23, bringing together more than 100 record dealers from across the U.S. and around the world. And if previous editions are any indication, this could be the biggest VinylCon! LA has seen yet.
Whether you’re hunting for a rare collector’s item or hoping to find your next favorite album, there will be thousands of records to explore. The selection will span just about every genre, with everything from coveted gems to affordable finds for anyone just getting into vinyl.
What to expect at VinylCon!
VinylCon! is more than a record sale. Throughout the two-day event, attendees can browse an enormous selection of vinyl while enjoying all-vinyl DJ sets curated by Skeme Richards.
The weekend will also feature food and drinks, giveaways, sponsor activations, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow music lovers and collectors.
The DJ lineup is expected to bring another high-energy soundtrack to the weekend. Skeme Richards, who has been part of previous VinylCon! LA events, is once again helping curate the music.
The event’s artwork also has a distinctly Los Angeles connection. This year’s poster was designed by LA poster legend Dave Kloc, who created a concept inspired by the lengths music lovers go to in their search for the perfect new record.
A must-visit for vinyl lovers
VinylCon! has quickly become one of L.A.’s standout events for music fans. The spring edition attracted more than 4,000 people, cementing the record fair as a major destination for collectors.
You don’t have to be a serious crate digger to enjoy it. Casual music fans can spend the afternoon browsing albums, discovering new artists, and soaking up the atmosphere. For longtime collectors, it’s a chance to dig through thousands of records and potentially uncover something special.
With vendors traveling in from across the country and internationally, VinylCon! also offers a chance to discover records you might not find at your local shop.
