BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield police are searching for a suspect who is accused of robbing a victim of a gold chain during a Facebook Marketplace meeting on Friday, August 7th.
Police said the suspect contacted the victim to meet at the Glenbrook Apartments located at 4840 Planz Road to buy a gold chain. The suspect then ran away with the gold chain, said police.
The suspect wanted for grand theft is described as a male in his late teens, with a thin build.
He was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and prescription glasses.

He is known to live in the area between Planz Road and Appleblossom Drive.
