ANAHEIM, Calif. — Jumping, singing, and dancing, that is how the youngest learners at the Anaheim Elementary School District kicked off the new school year.
Pep squads, balloons and photo ops welcomed around 14,000 students across their 23 campuses on Thursday.
While they continue to expand their music and arts programs, the district has a renewed focus on literacy achievement this year.
