Los Feliz is getting a colorful new look this weekend. A free art and music block party is taking over Hollywood Boulevard with live painting, music, local artists, and more.

The Los Feliz Art & Music Block Party + Mural Festival will bring the neighborhood together for an afternoon of creativity. The family-friendly event will feature live mural painting, original artwork, artisan booths, community displays, and live music.

The celebration will take place along Hollywood Boulevard between Vermont Avenue and Rodney Drive near Wacko Soap Plant. It’s free to attend and open to all ages.

The Los Feliz Art & Music Block Party + Mural Festival runs from 12 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 15.

Guests can spend the afternoon exploring local art and watching murals come to life. Several artists will create new works throughout the neighborhood as part of the mural festival.

The mural program is curated by Ryan “Yanoe” Sarfati. Participating artists include Shepard Fairey, Nychos, Victor Ving, Eric “Zoueh” Skotnes, Angelica Navarro, and Jason Filipow.

Beyond the murals, the event will feature:
