Smorgasburg LA’s annual BBQ Day is bringing a huge lineup of smoky, saucy eats to ROW DTLA at the end of this month

Get ready for a Sunday filled with BBQ, dancing, DJs, micheladas, and plenty of good eats. Smorgasburg LA’s annual BBQ Day is returning to ROW DTLA on Sunday, August 30th.

The one-day celebration will bring together some of L.A.’s best BBQ vendors. Expect everything from Texas-style brisket and Filipino-inspired barbecue to Cambodian, Japanese, Cuban, and Santa Maria flavors.

There will also be live DJs, country dancing, Western flash tattoos, giveaways, specials, and more throughout the market.

And you can still shop and snack your way through all of Smorgasburg LA’s regular vendors while you’re there.

Here’s the full BBQ lineup:

Black Almond BBQ

Black Almond BBQ blends California, Texas, and Virginia BBQ traditions for a unique take on classic smoked meats.

Shourai Barbecue

This vendor brings together Japanese flavors and Texas-style BBQ for a smoky lineup with plenty of bold flavors.

Battambong BBQ

Battambong BBQ puts a Cambodian twist on Texas BBQ, combining Southeast Asian flavors with classic smoked meats.

Nia & Jags Barbecue

Expect Central Texas BBQ with Cuban and New Mexican influences at Nia & Jags Barbecue.

Full Send BBQ

Full Send BBQ combines Central Texas BBQ with Filipino soul, creating a menu that brings together two seriously delicious traditions.

Saulitos Barbecue

Saulitos serves up Texas BBQ with a touch of L.A. Expect plenty of smoky, flavorful barbecue with a distinctly local spin.

Shady Grove Foods

Shady Grove Foods combines Cajun and Santa Maria BBQ with a Long Beach twist.

Sam Woo BBQ x Zindrew

Sam Woo BBQ is teaming up with Zindrew for a special collaboration.

The duo will serve Dan Dan Noodles with Sam Woo’s duck and Zindrew’s chili oil. They’ll also offer a limited-edition Char Siu Slider with Zindrew Chili Oil.

The first 200 people who download the Eater app can get the slider for free.

Wild Fork Foods

Wild Fork Foods will also have specials throughout the market, giving BBQ fans even more to try.

There’s more than BBQ

The food is only part of the celebration. Start your Sunday with DJs ELESTELA and Muezette, who will be spinning from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 2 to 4 p.m.

Then, from noon to 2 p.m., join Stud Country + Bootleg for some country dancing.

Want some new ink? Queens of Needles will be offering Western-inspired flash tattoos during the event.

There will also be giveaways and prizes from Farmer John and DoorDash throughout the day.

And, of course, you can grab a michelada while you make your way around the market. There’s a little bit of something for everyone.
