Sweetwater Valley and Municipal de Tijuana will play parallel schedules at next week’s Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
The double-elimination tournament starts Wednesday.
Both Sweetwater Valley and Municipal de Tijuana play their first games on Thursday.
Municipal de Tijuana will take on Australia’s Ryde Little League at 9 a.m., with Sweetwater playing Davenport, Iowa’s Northwest Little League at 3 p.m. Both games will air live on ESPN.

Thursday’s winners advance to play Sunday – Tijuana would play at 8 a.m. with a victory, with Sweetwater at 10 a.m. Thursday’s losers will head to a Saturday elimination game, with Tijuana looking at a possible 10 a.m. start and Sweetwater at 4 p.m.
Bracket play runs through Aug. 29, when the winners of the United States and international brackets are crowned. The Little League World Series championship is scheduled for Aug. 30.
Sweetwater Valley is representing the West in the United States bracket, with Municipal de Tijuana representing Mexico.
