LONG BEACH, Miss. (WLOX) — For Eddie and Angie Holmes, 50 years of marriage called for a celebration that was uniquely theirs.
To celebrate, the couple went on a 50-mile bike ride. Thirteen of their friends joined them, riding from their Long Beach home to Bay St. Louis and back.

The two have run and cycled together for decades. Angie led the Gulf Coast Running Club while Eddie led the Gulf Coast Bicycle Club.
“We just feel very blessed to be in the situation we’re in at our age and the health we have and the friends and the social community that we are involved in. We just feel very fortunate,” Eddie said.
“And our family is wonderful. We just love having everybody here,” Angie said.
