A motorcyclist was killed Monday evening in a solo South Bay freeway accident.
The fatal crash occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. on the southbound side of Interstate 805, near East Fourth Street in National City, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The rider died at the scene, the CHP reported.
