One person suffered minor injuries Saturday night when an unidentified shooter fired into a crowded Korean barbecue restaurant in downtown Vista, officials said.
No arrests have been made. Detectives from the Vista sheriff’s station are investigating the incident, which occurred just after 7:30 p.m. at the eatery on Vista Village Drive, said sheriff’s Lt. Gavin Lanning. No suspect description was immediately released.
The injured person was treated at the scene by Vista firefighters and then released, Lanning said.
The restaurant, 2N1 Korean BBQ, is located near The Wave waterpark and the Cinepolis Vista movie theater.
