New date announced for Benson Boone’s postponed concert at Golden 1 Center
SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
Benson Boone’s postponed concert at the Golden 1 Center has a new date.
The Golden 1 Center and the artist announced that the show has been rescheduled for Sept. 9.
“Sacramento! We have a date!” Boone said on social media Saturday.

The Grammy-nominated artist was supposed to perform at the downtown Sacramento venue on Aug. 8. The concert was postponed less than an hour before it was scheduled to start due to health reasons.
“Sacramento — I’m so so sorry but I am not going to be able to perform tonight. I’ve been fighting like hell all afternoon to try and make my voice presentable for the show tonight and it’s not in a place to do so,” Benson Boone said on social media following the postponement. “I know this is extremely disappointing, especially for everyone who traveled to be here. Trust me I am disappointed too.”
All tickets from the Aug. 8 show will be honored and guests seeking refunds can do so at their original point of purchase, the Golden 1 Center said.
