“We have a date,” Benson wrote in all capital letters in an Instagram story Saturday afternoon.

The chart-topping artist had been singing — and backflipping — his way across the country since July for his Wanted Man tour, but abruptly rescheduled his Aug. 8 Sacramento show the day of due to “health reasons,” the Golden 1 Stadium wrote in a social media post.

A week later, on Aug. 15, the new date was officially set for Sept. 9. Benson Boone’s Instagram story also assured customers with tickets to the original show that they would be honored for the new date.

Fans appeared satisfied with this, as 99% of tickets were sold within 24 hours of his Saturday social media post, according to StubHub.

“I can’t wait to see you guys,” Boone said at the end of his announcement.

Although Boone fans can use their original tickets for the new show on Sept. 9, those who don’t want to see the Wanted Man tour can still receive a full refund through their original purchase point, according to the Golden 1 Center.
