Serial Killer speakeasy

The city of angels has no shortage of ways to spend a night out, from rooftop drinks to massive block parties that turn an ordinary evening into something a little stranger. For true-crime fans looking for an experience that goes beyond another podcast episode, one North Hollywood theater is offering a particularly dark night out, if you dare…

Wisteria Theater is hosting Serial Killer Speakeasy, an immersive cocktail experience inspired by four of the most notorious serial killers in U.S. history: Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, and Ed Gein.

This August, Wisteria Theater will host the touring experience, which combines live theatrical storytelling with a four-drink tasting menu. Each session lasts approximately 90 minutes and takes audiences through the crimes.

The evening is divided into four case files, with each story paired with its own themed cocktail:

Ted Bundy by the Friendly Stranger.

Jeffrey Dahmer by Apartment Two One Three.

John Wayne Gacy by Killer Clowns.

Ed Gein by Gein’s Cauldron.

The production explores the backgrounds and behavior surrounding each case through live performance, rather than simply recounting the crimes, giving the evening more of a theatrical format than a traditional true-crime presentation.

The North Hollywood stop is part of a larger touring production from Midnight Creative, which has brought the show to venues in other U.S. cities. In Los Angeles, the experience will be available for three nights only, from August 20 through August 22, 2026.
