A body was recovered from the bay near the Ferry Building on Sunday, authorities said. 

The San Francisco Fire Department received a call for service for a possible bay rescue at 7:37 p.m., said spokesperson Samuel Menchaca. Officers found and transported the body to Pier 22½. 

The medical examiner has yet to publicly identify the body. There were no signs of foul play or a suspicious occurrence, according to a representative for the San Francisco Police Department.
