Re “Mission Bay Park restrooms to reopen after public furor” (Aug. 13): Do our incompetent city officials ever learn from their past blunders? Again, only after massive public outcry, do these officials running — ruining — our city finally relent after wasting time, energy and likely money defending their decisions before finally admitting it was wrong.
How many tourist dollars were lost from their decision? This is just on top of the mistakes and reversals of the trash scam, parking meters in Balboa Park and the biggest mistake of all: 101 Ash St. They profess to “listen to the public” on occasion without any evidence that they do.
We need to vote them all out of office rather than rewarding their incompetency by allowing them to remain.
