BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — One lane on southbound Highway 99 at the Ming Avenue off-ramp is scheduled to be closed overnight on Thursday, August 20, according to the City of Bakersfield.
The number four (farthest right) lane is set to be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Crews will be removing k-rail, also known as a traffic barrier, along the southbound Highway 99/Ming Avenue off-ramp.
Drivers in the area should expect delays, use caution, or plan to use alternate routes, said the city.
Construction work may be postponed and rescheduled without notice due to inclement weather and other unforeseen conditions.
