BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A woman was arrested Tuesday night in east Bakersfield following reports of gunshots fired inside a home, according to a Kern County Sheriff’s Office official.
At around 7:43 p.m., deputies responded to a home in the area of Jefferson and Gage streets. Shortly later, they arrested a woman for allegedly firing off shots inside the home.
No one was injured in the incident.
A KCSO official stated that the woman was experiencing mental health issues. The area should be cleared soon, the official added.
