Tracy Bertagnole has been named the Senior Vice President and Area Manager of the Kaiser Permanente Fresno Service Area, overseeing hospital operations and the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan across Fresno, Clovis, Selma, and Oakhurst, an area serving over 166,000 people.
Bertagnole joined Kaiser Permanente Fresno in 2024 as chief operating officer and was appointed as senior vice president and area manager role after acting in the role on an interim basis since February.
“I am deeply committed to Kaiser Permanente’s mission of delivering high-quality, affordable health care as we help people lead long and healthy lives,” Bertagnole said in a news release.
A Central Valley native with over 15 years of experience, Bertagnole has served in various leadership roles with non-profit and for-profit health care organizations.
As chief operating officer of Kaiser Permanente Fresno, Bertagnole helped “strengthen hospital operations, support clinical teams, and advance initiatives that improved efficiency, quality, and patient care experience,” according to the release.
The role was previously filled by Tyler Hedden, who is now the senior vice president and area manager for Kaiser Permanente’s Diablo service area.
“Tracy is a committed and experienced health care leader who has a passion and drive for improving health outcomes for our patients and members,” Kathy Bressler senior vice president of Hospital and Health Plan Operations for Kaiser Permanente’s Northern California region said in the release.
“Working alongside our care teams, Tracy’s leadership will help the Fresno area to continue to grow as we expand access to care in the communities we serve.”
