South LA pursuit ends with driver hitting parked cars – NBC Los Angeles

A pursuit in South Los Angeles came to an end when the driver crashed into a row of parked cars early Wednesday.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were in pursuit of a reckless driver in a silver Toyota Corolla shortly before 1 a.m.

LAPD said the driver was headed eastbound on Imperial Highway when he lost control and collided with several parked cars on Wadsworth Avenue.

The pursuit driver was injured and transported to a local hospital with a broken nose, LAPD said.
