LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State head baseball coach TJ Bruce has announced the Dirtbags’ 2026 schedule, featuring more than 30 home games at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field along with a challenging slate of non conference and Big West contests.
 
The season opens at home with a three-game series against San José State beginning Friday, Feb. 13. The Dirtbags then welcome San Diego (Feb. 17) before a four-game weekend set against Washington State (Feb. 19–22). The 12-game home stand at Blair Field concludes with a three-game series against BYU (Feb. 26–28) and an exhibition match up with Japan’s Waseda University on March 3.
 
Long Beach State hits the road for the first time on March 4, traveling to San Diego State. Big West play begins on the road March 6–8 at UC Santa Barbara, followed by the Dirtbags’ first conference home series March 13–15 against Hawai’i.
 
Other marquee home conference match ups include UC Irvine (March 27–29), Cal State Fullerton (April 10–12), UC Riverside (April 17–19), UC San Diego (May 1–3), and the regular-season home finale against 2025 Men’s College World Series participant Oregon State (May 8–10).
 
Additional Big West road series are set for Cal State Bakersfield (March 20–22), CSUN (April 2–4) and UC Davis (April 24–26).
 
The Dirtbags will also face several in-state rivals in midweek action, including USC (March 10 in Los Angeles; April 14 at home), LMU (March 17 at home; April 7 on the road), San Diego State (March 31 at home), Fresno State (March 23 away; April 21 at home) and California Baptist (April 6).
 
The regular season concludes with a road series at Cal Poly (May 14–16) before the Big West Baseball Championship, scheduled for May 20–24 in Irvine, Calif., and hosted by UC Irvine.
 
All home games will be played at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field, with first pitch typically at 6:05 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 1:05 p.m. on Sundays.
