BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A slot player at Hard Rock Casino Tejon recently struck it big winning a jackpot worth over $359,000.
The casino called the winnings “lifechanging” after a $5 bet turned into a win of $359,452. A post on its Instagram page showed a woman, only identified as Carmen C., standing in front of the slot game showing the big payout.
Hard Rock Casino Tejon officials said since the casino opened last November, it has paid out more than $200 million in combined jackpot winnings.
Tuesday’s jackpot win was big, but it didn’t top July’s slot jackpot win of over $1.2 million by a visitor from Glendale. In April, a slot player won $340,000, casino officials said.
Hard Rock Casino Tejon opened in Mettler, just west of Highway 99 in November 2025, part of a massive complex that is set to eventually include hotel rooms and an entertainment venue.
