BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Probation Department arrested one person on Tuesday for possessing a firearm and drug-related offenses.
On Tuesday, Aug. 18, officers with the Kern County Department’s Adult Supervision Division conducted a home call on the 8900 block of Bremerton Court in Bakersfield, the probation department said.
Law enforcement contacted an additional occupant in the home during the search, who was later identified as Michael Rust, who is prohibited from possessing firearms.
Officials said multiple handguns, methamphetamine, fentanyl and ammunition were located.
The KCPD said Rust was arrested on firearm and drug-related offenses.
