BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a burglary incident, where a man broke into a residence on Sunset Avenue.

Bakersfield police said a man broke into a home on the 2200 block of Sunset Avenue on Saturday, Aug. 15, just before 6 a.m.

Police said the residence was unoccupied at the time of the break-in.

BPD described the suspect in the burglary as a male between the ages of 40 and 50 years old.

The department said he has a large build and short brown hair. He was wearing a gray T-shirt, dark colored shorts and a chain necklace with a large pendent at the time of the break-in.
