FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A county employee, an attorney, was stabbed in Courthouse Park near the Law Enforcement Memorial on Thursday afternoon.
The male suspect ran from the scene but was captured a couple of blocks away by Fresno County sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies say they had to tase the suspect to take him into custody. He was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
The male victim was taken to the hospital and was awake and breathing.

They are investigating whether this was a targeted or random attack.
