BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield police are investigating a crash on California Avenue related to an incident involving Kern County deputies and a suspect on Thursday night, said an official.
It happened at around 9:30 p.m. on California Avenue near L Street. It’s unknown why the deputies were pursuing the suspect at this time.
