Cameron Payne spent the past 2025-26 NBA season for the Philadelphia 76ers, joining the contending East team by February. Two months before the playoffs, he was waived by the 76ers from their final roster.

He averaged 7.4 points, 2.6 assists, and 2.0 rebounds in 22 games for Philadelphia before departing.

An 11-year journeyman in the league, Payne has played with six other NBA teams throughout his career. The veteran guard is a reliable backup floor general with career averages of 7.7 points, 3.2 assists and 2.0 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Elfrid Payton last played in the league for the New Orleans Pelicans back in 2024-25. Like Payne, the 32-year-old has played for multiple different teams.

He is currently with the Austin Spurs, San Antonio’s G League team.

Oladipo is gunning for an NBA comeback for the first time since 2023. The two-time All-Star was originally linked to the Kings when the team was also exploring a reunion with Russell Westbrook.

As the Kings continue to seek another guard piece and a potential mentor for new franchise star Darius Acuff Jr., Payne, Payton, and Oladipo can only continue to be monitored.
