LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A crash has snarled the Friday morning commute heading from Las Vegas to California.
The injury crash was reported on southbound Interstate 15 near mile marker 7, per Nevada Highway Patrol’s incident page.
Traffic is blocked on the interstate at the Goodsprings Road exit in Jean and does not appear to be moving.
There was no immediate word on the reason for the shutdown or when the interstate could reopen.
News 3 has reached out to a Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol spokesman for further updates.
In the meantime, cars looking to reach California will have to take U.S. 95 south to Searchlight and reach I-15 via Nipton Road/Nevada Route 164 westbound.
