Costa Mesa-based California Pizza Kitchen is rolling out up to 1,000 pizza kiosks across 30 major U.S. markets over the next three years, the chain announced today.

The deployment of automated machines builds on testing that CPK began last year in partnership with retail growth firm T-ROC Global. The TurboChef-powered kiosks can serve a hot CPK pizza in as little as 90 seconds and will also offer CPK menu favorites such as Kung Pao Spaghetti, Mac ā€˜N’ Cheese and Butter Cake.

T-ROC will initially deploy the machines in clusters of at least 20 kiosks across airports, universities, hospitals, hotels, office and residential complexes, electric vehicle charging centers and sports venues.
