A kitesurfer was rescued in San Francisco after becoming caught in a strong ebb current on Tuesday, August 18.
Police used a drone to locate the distressed surfer.
Footage released by the San Francisco Police Department shows San Francisco Fire Department rescuers using a jet ski and a boat to assist the kitesurfer.
Authorities said the surfer was brought to safety and no injuries were reported.
