BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department said they are investigating a shooting at Independence High School on Friday night.
According to an Eyewitness News crew at the football game, an Independence staff member told him that a fight broke out, and one person was shot in the chest. Police said there is no active threat of a shooter.
The football game was between Independence High School and Centennial High School.
