The Los Angeles Police Department and the family of a 71-year-old man with severe dementia are asking for the public’s help in locating him.
Ignacio Guzman was last seen about 2:30 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 1400 block of Burlington Avenue in Los Angeles, according to police.
Police described Guzman as a Hispanic man with gray hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a gray button-up shirt and black pants.
Guzman has severe dementia, and his family is concerned about his safety, police said.
Anyone who has seen Guzman or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the LAPD Missing Persons Unit of the Detective Support and Vice Division at 213-996-1800 or call 911.
