News & Notes

UNLV’s attack continues to create opportunities, finding space to fire 11 total shots in back-to-back contests. After 11 shots vs. PSU, the Scarlet & Gray tallied 11 shots despite its 2-1 defeat to UC San Diego.
Through three matches, the Rebel backline has only allowed one goal that didn’t come via a penalty kick. Goalkeepers Riley Hodson and Ava Droze have combined to make 12 saves over the last two games, with each stopping six shots on goal apiece in that span.
Heading into Sunday, UNLV has scored a goal in two straight matches. Fifth-year forward Kaitlyn Taylor and freshman forwards Audrina Hernandez each have found the net for the Rebels on the year.
