The UFC held another August fight card on Saturday with UFC Fight Night 285 from Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif., and another 10 finishes occurred inside the octagon.

The middleweight main event went the 25-minute distance, however, with Gregory Rodrigues (20-6 MMA, 11-3 UFC) successfully outworking Anthony Hernandez (15-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) for a unanimous decision win to take his name into the next tier of contention in the division run by Sean Strickland.

Debuting fighters went 2-2 at the event.

Roman Dolidze’s (14-7 MMA, 8-7 UFC) three-fight losing skid is the longest of his career. He hasn’t earned a victory since March 2025.

Dolidze suffered the first knockout loss of his career.

MarQuel Mederos def. Mason Jones

MarQuel Mederos (12-1-1 MMA, 4-0-1 UFC) has earned seven of his 12 career victories by stoppage. He’s finished all seven of those wins by knockout.

Mason Jones (18-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) fell to 3-1 since he returned to the UFC for a second stint in May 2025.

Jones suffered the first stoppage loss of his career with a TKO defeat.

Carli Judice def. Jeisla Chaves

Carli Judice’s (7-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) four-fight UFC winning streak at women’s flyweight is tied with Wang Cong for the second-longest active streak in the division behind Natalia Silva (eight).
