BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Library is hosting an event to connect families with the resources they need when expecting a new addition.
The Kern County Baby Expo will be held Friday, August 28, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Beale Memorial Library.
The event will provide families with diapers, infant clothing, and other resources they may need as they welcome a new baby into the world.
Kern County Library Marketing Associate Courtney Park joined Eyewitness News Mornings to share more details.
Park says the Kern County Library will also be hosting a number of used book sales in the coming months.
She says the Southwest Library branch will be holding sales on September 10 and 15.
The Arvin branch will also be hosting sales on September 22 and 24.
Lastly, the Tehachap branch will be hosting a sale on October 10.
