An updated extreme heat warning was released by the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA on Tuesday at 12:02 a.m. valid from 10 a.m. until Friday 8 p.m. The warning is for Western Antelope Valley Foothills, Eastern Antelope Valley Foothills and Antelope Valley.

The NWS informs, “Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 112 degrees expected.”

“Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events,” comments the NWS.

This warning is in effect until Friday at 8 p.m.
