BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a burglary at a Panama Lane restaurant earlier this month.
Officials said the burglary happened August 1, 2026, at Kwality Indian Cuisine and Ice Cream, located at 3541 Panama Lane. Police said the suspect broke a glass door, stole food and cash, and damaged equipment.
The suspect is described as a heavy-set man who was last seen wearing a black tank top, shorts and Nike slides.
