Overturned tractor-trailer causes lanes to be blocked on 10 Freeway – NBC Los Angeles

Four westbound lanes on the 10 Freeway will be closed until around 8 a.m. today after a tractor-trailer
collision.   

A tractor-trailer collided into the center divider and overturned onto train tracks around 3:12 a.m. on the 10 Freeway just east of Del Mar Avenue, a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol said.

The CHP issued a SigAlert for both westbound express lanes and traffic lanes 1 and 2.

The driver was able to exit the vehicle and no injuries were reported, the CHP said.

Train tracks were closed between El Monte and Cal State University, Los Angeles due to the collision. The Metrolink San Bernardino line was experiencing delays as of 5:57 a.m., according to the Metrolink website.
