BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Southbound Highway 99 remains closed at Woollomes Avenue in Delano following a crash involving a semi Thursday morning.
The crash initially closed all northbound and southbound lanes as crews worked to clear debris from both sides of the freeway.
As of 6:05 a.m., the northbound lanes had reopened. All southbound lanes remain closed, with traffic being diverted off Highway 99 at Woollomes Avenue.
Drivers should expect major delays through the area.
