FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A Fresno man was sentenced Wednesday to 62 years to life in state prison for human trafficking and sexual offenses involving three minors, according to the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office.

38 year old Brandon Antonio Correia was convicted by a Fresno County Superior Court jury on July 16 of human trafficking, pimping, pandering and multiple sexual offenses.

Prosecutors said Correia trafficked a 14-year-old girl through force, fear, violence and sexually assaulted her.

According to prosecutors, Correia also trafficked a 17-year-old girl who he met at a bus stop after school. He took her to a motel where another 14-year-old victim was staying.

Prosecutors said Correia directed both girls to engage in prostitution and collected the money they earned.

In another case, prosecutors said Correia approached a third victim near her high school bus stop when she was 17 and tried to recruit her for prostitution.

When she refused, prosecutors said Correia engaged in sexual acts with her. The victim also reported he physically restrained and assaulted her when she tried to leave.

Fresno County Superior Court Judge Brian Alvarez imposed the 62 years to life sentence on Wednesday.
