(FOX40.COM) — Grammy-winning rapper J Cole’s show on Thursday in Sacramento was canceled following a trucking crash that left one dead, the Golden 1 Center said.

In a social media post, the venue announced that the show, scheduled for 8 p.m., would no longer be happening due to the big rig crash on Interstate 5, with the driver confirmed as a member of the artist’s touring crew.

The driver was the sole occupant of the truck when it went off the roadway onto the right shoulder, then overturned when trying to re-enter the road.

Officials said guests who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will be refunded automatically, and remaining guests may seek refunds at their original point of purchase.

“Our thoughts are with the crew member’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time,” Golden 1 Center’s social media post read.
